Apps

Nautobot Apps extend your instance with additional features, integrations, and data models. In Nautobot Cloud you can:

• Install Marketplace Apps — browse and install curated, certified, Nautobot Cloud–ready Apps.
• Install Custom Apps — install your own Apps from public PyPI or from a package you upload, for Apps that aren't in the Marketplace.
• Configure Apps — set any installed App's configuration (the equivalent of PLUGINS_CONFIG), including referencing Secrets for sensitive values.

You install, configure, and manage Apps from the Apps tab of a Nautobot instance's detail view.

App changes are staged as pending updates and take effect when you next Update the instance. See Manage Instances and Instance Actions.
