Release Notes

Nautobot Commercial Software release cycles follow Nautobot's open source versioning scheme. While individual applications may have their own version numbers, they are released under the umbrella of the Nautobot Open Source project version.

Release 3.1 - April 2026

Initial Commercial Release of Nautobot Tools.

• Device Discovery - Version 2.0 - Enables discovery of network devices in your infrastructure for automatic ingestion into your Source of Truth.
• Ansible Automation - Version 1.1 - Integrates with Ansible AWX or AAP to run and report on playbooks from your Nautobot UI.
• Nautobot MCP - Version 1.0 - Implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable integration with AI systems.
• Insights – Provides reports on your Nautobot data, including inventory, compliance, security, and more.
• Network Tools – Integrates connectivity testing tools such as ping, traceroute, DNS, and SSH.
• Nautobot Troubleshooting Tools – Provides comprehensive troubleshooting outputs and system diagnostics.
