Overview

Nautobot Commercial Software is distributed via several license bundles that contain Nautobot Apps designed to extend Nautobot's core functionality.

Important

Installation is strictly done through the private Python repository provided upon purchase. No other distribution methods (PyPI, GitHub Releases, Wheels, etc.) will be used for licensed software.

Nautobot Professional

Nautobot Professional is Commercial Bundled Software that provides a license entitlement to the following Nautobot Apps:

• Device Discovery – Enables discovery of network devices in your infrastructure for automatic ingestion into your Source of Truth.
• Ansible Automation – Integrates with Ansible AWX or AAP to run and report on playbooks from your Nautobot UI.
• Nautobot MCP Server – Implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable integration with AI systems.
• Insights – Provides reports on your Nautobot data, including inventory, compliance, security, and more.
• Network Tools – Integrates connectivity testing tools such as ping, traceroute, DNS, and SSH.
• Nautobot Troubleshooting Tools – Provides comprehensive troubleshooting outputs and system diagnostics.

Nautobot Enterprise

Nautobot Enterprise is Commercial Bundled Software that provides a license entitlement to the following Nautobot Apps:

• Everything included in Nautobot Professional.
• OS Upgrades – Enables network teams to perform network operating system upgrades in an automated, reliable, and repeatable fashion across a wide range of supported devices.
• Operational Compliance – Helps network teams validate device state before and after changes, providing clear evidence of what changed and how.
