How do I add new user(s)?

New users can be added to NautobotGPT by admin accounts. Open a ticket with Support to request for new users to be created.

I'm not able to log in?

Ensure you're using the correct login credentials (email address & password) for NautobotGPT. These credentials are separate from any enterprise LDAP or SSO login and may not be the same depending on what you set as your password.

If still unable to log in, reach out to Support to reset your password.

Is SSO supported?

Not at this time. If you would like to discuss further, please contact Network to Code.

NautobotGPT's answer/response is wrong or hallucinating.

As an AI/LLM tool, NautobotGPT can occasionally make mistakes. Because of this, its responses and answer should always be tested and verified. This is especially important before deploying or running code that NautobotGPT assisted with. As with any software, test code thoroughly in non-production environments.

We are also continuously improving NautobotGPT to ensure it provides the most accurate responses. To accomplish this, there are a few mechanisms you can use to submit feedback to us for responses that were incorrect or otherwise unhelpful.

  1. At the bottom of each NautobotGPT response, there are thumbs-up and thumbs-down icons.

    Click the appropriate one based on the response and provide a rating & details as to the issue with the response.

    This will flag that response and allow us to review it closely, ultimately enabling us to improve the tool.

  2. Open a ticket with Support providing the details of the wrong responses.

Response to my question is taking a long time or not completing?

If NautobotGPT is hanging or not responding, you're likely referring to the following where the loading/thinking graphic continuously remains for a long period of time with no answer:

Try performing the following steps:

  • Force stop the current chat response and then re-submit your question

  • Start a new chat by clicking New Chat in the upper left

If neither of the above worked, check if other, different prompts/questions asked in a New Chat return responses.

  • If so, make a note of the particular prompt that hung and submit it in a ticket to Support.
  • If not, there could be something wrong with your account/connectivity or the application. Contact Support for more assistance.
